IRPM Honors an Introduction : 

 I.R.P.M. is an under graduate & Post Graduate Honours Course in various Universities of West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Kerala, Karnataka and many other states of India. I.R.P.M.(Industrial Relations and Personnel Management) was early known as LSW i.e. Labour and Social Welfare. IRPM (LSW) is an ancient Honours 3 years degree & 2 years Post Graduate Course that came into existence in India in 1952.    

आई.आर.पी.एम .(प्रतिष्ठित) एक परिचय :-

आई.आर.पी.एम.  पश्चिम बंगाल, बिहार, झारखंड, केरल, कर्नाटक और भारत के कई अन्य राज्यों के विभिन्न विश्वविद्यालयों के अन्तर्गत पढ़ाया जाने वाला अंडर ग्रेजुएट और पोस्ट ग्रेजुएट ऑनर्स कोर्स है।  I.R.P.M. (औद्योगिक संबंध और कार्मिक प्रबंधन) को पहले LSW यानी श्रम और समाज कल्याण के रूप में जाना जाता था।  IRPM (LSW) एक प्राचीन 3 साल का डिग्री ऑनर्स और 2 साल का पोस्ट ग्रेजुएट कोर्स है जो 1952 में भारत में अस्तित्व में आया था।

Purpose of studying IRPM (LSW) :

Since, Industrial Relationselations and Personnel Management i.e. Labour and Social Welfare is a mixture of Arts and Science it's Scope is very large. It is considered that it is a branch of Economics as it deals with Labour Economics and it is also considered as a branch of Social Science because it deals with Social Security & Social Welfare. In conclusion, we study this honours course for Industrial and Social Justice and equality. In other words, in this course we learn how to deal in different situations of industrial and social environment. Labour market, labour's wages, employees Provident Fund, different labour Acts,I.L.O. etc. are some situations in labour Economics. Social Security, women strength, women's welfare, child welfare, Unemployment in India,NGO, Government measures for Scheduled Castes and scheduled tribes are some examples of Social Security & social Welfare.

IRPM (LSW) का अध्ययन करने का उद्देश्य:

चूंकि, औद्योगिक संबंध और कार्मिक प्रबंधन यानी श्रम और समाज कल्याण कला और विज्ञान का मिश्रण है, इसलिए इसका दायरा बहुत बड़ा है।  यह माना जाता है कि यह अर्थशास्त्र की एक शाखा है क्योंकि यह श्रम अर्थशास्त्र से संबंधित है और इसे सामाजिक विज्ञान की एक शाखा के रूप में भी माना जाता है क्योंकि यह सामाजिक सुरक्षा और समाज कल्याण से संबंधित है।  अंत में, हम औद्योगिक और सामाजिक न्याय और समानता के लिए यह प्रतिष्ठित पाठ्यक्रम पढ़ते हैं।  दूसरे शब्दों में, इस पाठ्यक्रम में हम सीखते हैं कि औद्योगिक और सामाजिक वातावरण की विभिन्न स्थितियों में कैसे व्यवहार किया जाता है।  श्रम बाजार, श्रम की मजदूरी, कर्मचारी भविष्य निधि, विभिन्न श्रम अधिनियम आदि श्रम अर्थशास्त्र में कुछ स्थितियां हैं।  सामाजिक सुरक्षा, महिला शक्ति, महिला कल्याण, बाल कल्याण, भारत में बेरोजगारी, गैर सरकारी संगठन, अनुसूचित जातियों और अनुसूचित जनजातियों के लिए सरकारी उपाय सामाजिक सुरक्षा और समाज कल्याण के कुछ उदाहरण हैं।

नोट :- IRPM को ही LSW कहा जाता है।

Career after Graduation :

 An IRPM (Honours) graduate can get jobs in both Private and Government Sector at national or international level. You can be a company law advisor,HR of a company, Company development manager etc. in private sector. You can get Government jobs in Labour & Social Welfare Department, EPF department, Child Welfare Department, Women Welfare Department, Financial planner, Teacher in +2 School, Lecturer etc. by completing this course. In addition, you may get all the jobs which a graduate deserves. You can apply in Railways,SSC,PSC,UPSC and many other government departments every year.

ग्रेजुएशन के बाद संभावनाएं :

 एक IRPM (ऑनर्स) स्नातक राष्ट्रीय या अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर निजी और सरकारी दोनों क्षेत्रों में नौकरी प्राप्त कर सकता है।  आप निजी क्षेत्र में कंपनी कानून सलाहकार, कंपनी के मानव संसाधन, कंपनी विकास प्रबंधक आदि हो सकते हैं।  आप इस कोर्स को पूरा करके श्रम एवं समाज कल्याण विभाग, ईपीएफ विभाग, बाल कल्याण विभाग, महिला कल्याण विभाग, वित्तीय योजनाकार, +2 स्कूल में शिक्षक, व्याख्याता आदि में सरकारी नौकरी प्राप्त कर सकते हैं।  इसके अलावा, आपको वे सभी नौकरियां मिल सकती हैं, जिनके लिए एक स्नातक योग्य है।  आप हर साल रेलवे, एसएससी, पीएससी, यूपीएससी और कई अन्य सरकारी विभागों में आवेदन कर सकते हैं।

Syllabus :-


IRPM ( LSW ) has two main papers in UG and PG they are following -
1. Labour Economics :-
This paper will enrich your knowledge of Labour Economics i.e. you will learn What is labour legislation, Labour Markets, Wages, Labour Productivity,EPF, Labour insurance, International Labour Organisation, relationship between employers and employees, Problem faced by Indian labour, Minimum wage in India etc. 
2. Social Security & Social Welfare :-
In this paper you will get deep knowledge in Social Security & Social Welfare i.e. Social justifications in society, Women protection, women's welfare, child welfare, Unemployment in India, Government measures for Scheduled Castes and scheduled Tribes etc.

IRPM (LSW) के UG और PG में दो मुख्य पेपर हैं जिनका वे अनुसरण कर रहे हैं -
 1. श्रम अर्थशास्त्र :-
 यह पेपर श्रम अर्थशास्त्र के आपके ज्ञान को समृद्ध करेगा अर्थात आप सीखेंगे कि श्रम कानून क्या है, श्रम बाजार, मजदूरी, श्रम उत्पादकता, ईपीएफ, श्रम बीमा, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय श्रम संगठन, नियोक्ताओं और कर्मचारियों के बीच संबंध, भारतीय श्रम के सामने आने वाली समस्या, न्यूनतम मजदूरी  भारत आदि।

 2. सामाजिक सुरक्षा एवं समाज कल्याण :-
 इस पेपर में आपको सामाजिक सुरक्षा और समाज कल्याण अर्थात समाज में सामाजिक औचित्य, महिला सुरक्षा, महिला कल्याण, बाल कल्याण, भारत में बेरोजगारी, अनुसूचित जाति और अनुसूचित जनजाति के लिए सरकारी उपाय आदि का गहन ज्ञान प्राप्त होगा।
